When you think of electrical engineers, you might think of merely lighting and power, but at HG Engineers this is only a fraction of our scope. Our services range from electrical utility distribution, mission critical power, lighting systems and controls, lighting color tuning, to security systems, access control systems, fire alarm systems, voice and data systems, building automation systems, smart buildings, IoT integration, AV, and fiber optics.
HG Engineers began in 1969 as Philip Humber & Associates. Thirty years later, principal, Chris Garick, acquired the company and formed Humber-Garick Consulting Engineers. Humber continued to provide engineering services for HG Engineers until he retired in 2019. Over the years, HG Engineers has expanded and diversified services, opening a second office in Tobyhanna, PA in 2013 and a third office in Panama City in 2020. Today, HG Engineers is owned and operated by three principal electrical engineers – Chris Garick, Dan White and Thomas Alexander. Together they continue to build and expand upon the company’s long history of providing top-quality services to clients.
