HG Engineers is a professional, multidisciplinary firm with decades of experience providing electrical engineering to clients in the private and public sector. With a combined 339 years of experience, we have worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including industrial, municipal, commercial and educational, along with the military, federal and state government. Our engineers are licensed in seven states and have worked in all 50 states and six U.S. Territories, in addition to work in South America, Asia and Europe.
Our electrical design expertise includes commercial buildings of all types, universities, police stations, condominiums, hospitals, parks and data centers, sports facilities, laboratories, military bases, K-12 schools, convention centers and more. When you think of electrical engineers, you might think of merely lighting and power, but at HG Engineers this is only a fraction of our scope. Our services range from electrical utility distribution, mission critical power, lighting systems and controls, lighting color tuning, to security systems, access control systems, fire alarm systems, voice and data systems, building automation systems, smart buildings, IoT integration, AV, and fiber optics.
OUR HISTORY
HG Engineers began in 1969 as Philip Humber & Associates. Thirty years later, principal, Chris Garick, acquired the company and formed Humber-Garick Consulting Engineers. Humber continued to provide engineering services for HG Engineers until he retired in 2019. Over the years, HG Engineers has expanded and diversified services, opening a second office in Tobyhanna, PA in 2013 and a third office in Panama City in 2020. Today, HG Engineers is owned and operated by three principal electrical engineers – Chris Garick, Dan White and Thomas Alexander. Together they continue to build and expand upon the company’s long history of providing top-quality services to clients.
